Hello!

Let me take you back for a moment. I spent my teenage years working at the library in my hometown. I discovered architecture magazines which led me to become fascinated by beautiful interior designs and powerful spaces. I spent numerous hours studying floor plans in the Sunday paper while I visualized how these spaces would appear in reality. 

 

That’s where the spark first hit me.

 

I have a habit of choosing routes that don’t take most direct path. I took a more practical route and earned a degree in Visual Communications. My graphic design career developed well but I eventually reached a state of complete exhaustion.

 

The spark for interior design kept burning brighter.

 

I made the decision to pursue my passion during the previous year. I joined The Interior Design Institute to study interior design and acquired a vast amount of knowledge.

 

The spark was back! I have discovered that I enjoy the process of transforming empty spaces into reality while fulfilling my clients’ aspirations. I find pleasure in all aspects of the project sequence starting from concept development through selection processes to completion.

 

I am shocked that I suppressed the spark for such a long period of time.

I chose to name my company Tindra Design. “Tindra”, in Swedish means to sparkle. The name serves as a reminder that design should create inner illumination within people. It should feel like a spark. Every space I design should transmit this spark to its occupants according to my design goal.

 

I look forward to beginning work with clients while sharing the inspirational spark that drives me.
